For many, Barwell Carnival is the best day in the village calendar, and we aim to keep it that way. So many local events have fallen by the wayside because of rising costs and red tape but with your help and continued support we can keep the carnival alive.

Barwell Carnival raises money for the village and gives this back to the local groups in the village - find out more about our groups.

But it's not all about the actual day of the carnival...lots goes on leading up to it.

There's the Royal disco in spring where the new carnival King, Queen and attendants are chosen and crowned.

Carnival day itself is in August, closely followed by our 'share the wealth' night, where all the donations are given to the various groups and organisations. Last year alone we raised and gave back over £4000 to the village, and without your continued support this wouldn't be possible.
